Based on Sustainable UI open‑source initiative
Our core technology is built on top of the Sustainable UI (SUI) open-source initiative, an award-winning project created by Samuel Pitoňák. This project received The Most Innovative award at the global hackathon Carbon Hack 22, organized by the Green Software Foundation.
SUI helps developers in creating the user interface of a website. It dynamically adjusts based on the electricity grid’s carbon intensity at the approximate location of either the website visitor or the server hosting the website, depending on the software architecture.
